For generations, the Solé family has spent their summers harvesting peaches in their orchard in Alcarràs, a small Catalan village in Spain. This year’s peach harvest may be their last, as the family faces the loss of their farm. The new landowners plan to cut down the peach trees and install solar panels in their place, creating a rift in the family’s close bonds. For the first time, they are faced with an uncertain future and risk losing much more than just their orchard.

Directed by Carla Simón. In 2022, Alcarràs won the award for Best Film at the Berlin International Film Festival, then went on to be nominated at 55 different international festivals and receive awards at 16 festivals in Spain and around the world.
