European Researchers' Night at Daugavpils University

On September 25, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, European Researchers' Night events will take place at Daugavpils University.

Discover the nature of science! This year's Researchers' Night invites you to look at science from a different angle and discover how diverse, exciting, and surprising the world around us is. Science is not just formulas, laboratories, and complex research. It is a chance to ask questions, seek answers, experiment, and notice what goes unseen in everyday life.

On this special evening, Daugavpils University will open its doors to everyone interested, so that together we can discover the nature of science, get to know research, scientists, and the fields represented at the university. Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of exciting activities, experiment, explore, and see for themselves that science can be both surprising and exciting.

European Researchers' Night is an initiative of the European Commission, held every year on the last Friday of September across Europe. Its aim is to promote science and research in an engaging and accessible way, increase understanding of scientists' work and its importance in our daily lives, and inspire young people to explore the world of science and choose research as their future path.

In Daugavpils University’s Researchers' Night program, you will have the chance to get acquainted with all the fields of science represented at the university.
