Latvian Pumptrack Championship in Tīraine

On September 26, the Velosolutions Pumptrack Latvian Championship will be held for the first time on a separate competition day in Tīraine, bringing together riders of different ages and skill levels from all over Latvia.

In recent years, pumptrack sports have become increasingly popular in Latvia, but until now the Latvian Championship has not had a separate competition day fully dedicated to this discipline. This year that will change, and the Velosolutions track in Tīraine will become Latvia's pumptrack sports center for one day.

Both experienced riders and young athletes will take part in the competition. Participants will compete in the Bike and Bike PRO bicycle classes, as well as in skateboard, roller skate, and scooter disciplines. The U-10, U-14, U-18, and OPEN age groups are planned, with women's and men's competitions judged separately.

In pumptrack racing, not only speed matters, but also a precise line, technique, and the ability to use every part of the track effectively. Results will be recorded with an electronic timing system.

Competition schedule:

10:00 a.m. - participant registration;

11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - qualifying runs;

around 2:30 p.m. - awards ceremony.

Participation in the competition is free of charge, and riders of all ages are invited to take part.
