Practical Seminar "Method Carousel"

The seminar program includes 4 short lectures on different current topics, a methods fair, and 12 practical workshops, three of which visitors can attend to learn more about and try out how game-based methods can be used for professional purposes.

10:10 – 10:40 SHORT LECTURE #1 "When everything is falling apart for a young person - how to recognize crises and provide support" / Līga Bērziņa, head of Uzvediba.lv and the Latvian Autism Association

10:40 - 11:10 SHORT LECTURE #2 "Useful resources and materials for working with young people" / Anda Jakuša, health promotion coordinator at SPKC in the Health Promotion Management Department

11:10 - 12:00 Methods fair - introduction to different game-based methods

12:00 – 12:50 Practical workshops (4 parallel workshops will take place)

12:50 - 13:40 Break, snacks, coffee, and informal conversations

13:40 - 14:10 SHORT LECTURE #3 "Without a filter about the Youth Guard and national defense education: What works and what does not work in youth work" / Jānis Dambergs, head of the National Defense Education Division of the Planning and Education Department of the Youth Guard Center
