As soon as a child turns three, what we are often least emotionally prepared for is what is, in fact, a normal stage of development - the three-year-old crisis, which can continue until the age of four, and sometimes even longer. Crisis is not really the right word for what is happening to the child at this age. The child is simply growing, asserting their self, expressing opinions, and getting to know different boundaries.Most often, as parents, it feels to us that around this time children are not so much discovering the world on a new level as they are discovering how much patience we have. We get angry, we do not understand where our once so obedient and "normal" child has gone, and that is only human.

During the lecture you will learn:

Diāna Zande is a Doctor of Psychology (with a PhD in clinical psychology), a cognitive behavioral psychotherapist, a lecturer at the University of Latvia and Riga Stradiņš University, practices at Diāna Zande's psychology practice, and for many years has been one of the most sought-after lecturers at Maminu Klubs Parent School.
