Aija Vītoliņa and Romāns Vendiņš | Mischievously Beautiful | at AKUSTIKA Cultural Space, Valmiera

On December 13 at 16: 00, we invite you to a warm and heartfelt reunion with our very dear friends, the wonderful singer Aija Vītoliņa and the spirited keyboard virtuoso Romāns Vendiņš.

On this Sunday afternoon, we will surrender to melodies and song rhythms from all around the wide world. The most beloved and heartfelt works by Latvian composers will mingle with passionate French love chansons, and then we will travel even farther, to fiery Spain, enjoying glowing and ardent Spanish melodies. Mischievously beautiful!

And, as true Sprīdītis should, we will most likely return home after all. Because there is nowhere as good as home. And Christmas is approaching. And in Aija’s voice, the Latvian language sounds exactly like this, like a warm stove, like a familiar room, like freshly baked pies and a calm candle flame that warms and illuminates.

Let us travel so that, before Christmas, we can return home.
