A play with elements of commedia dell'arte about a very busy gentleman who, in fact, gets nothing done.

He cannot find peace without work, and silence seems to him equal to death. That is why he always has to be doing something and never has a minute free. It must be said that he has some slight difficulties with concentration. Although that is not his only trouble. All this busyness is pointless - empty fuss, because he never accomplishes anything. Have you ever met people like that, who are always busy, but in fact do not really do anything? That is our main character as well - Mr. Vilgešrejs.

Vilgešrejs has promised his daughter's hand to the bookkeeper's son, who is also an accountant and could become a valuable helper in his growing, though entirely imagined, busyness. But Leonora's heart belongs to another young man. The maid Pernille rushes to save the situation with a cunning plan to avert disaster and make sure that love wins in the end. Ironically, the key to the plan's success is precisely Vilgešrejs's eternal busyness.

The production is based on a play by the most prominent Scandinavian author of the 18th century, also known as the "Danish Molière", Ludvig Holberg. This staging will include elements of commedia dell'arte - expressive acting, vivid characters, costumes, and makeup. It is directed by Danish director Kim Bjarke, who was the artistic director of Oslo Nye Teater for 8 years and has staged around 120 productions in Scandinavia since 1985, mostly in Denmark and Norway.
