ARTIS ŠIMPERMANIS – concert program “HOMETOWNS”

ARTIS ŠIMPERMANIS – concert program “HOMETOWNS”

This year Artis Šimpermanis will go on a big concert tour across Latvia, where listeners will have the chance to experience his concert program “Hometowns” - a musical story about the place you always want to return to.

The tour is set to begin on October 10 in Gulbene and will continue in different cities across Latvia, taking listeners through warm, sincere, and emotionally rich afternoons.

All concerts will begin at 4: 00 p.m., creating a special and peaceful atmosphere in which to let yourself be carried away by music and stories.

The program will feature songs beloved by listeners, as well as pieces from the concert program “Hometowns.” This program has been specially created, and Artis has prepared for it with great care.

💬 Artis Šimpermanis says about the tour: "This program is very personal to me. I have put into it the feeling that arises when a person returns to a place where they are understood without words. I want these concerts to become a moment of meeting, in which each of us can feel our own ‘hometowns’ - even if only for one afternoon."

A special event will be the tour finale concert in Rēzekne, at Latgale Embassy GORS, where the beloved Māris Blāze will also join Artis on stage.

This concert will be a true double concert, bringing together two powerful artists from Kurzeme, each with their own story, voice, and songs that are known and sung along to by all of Latvia. Māris Blāze’s most popular songs and stage experience have delighted listeners for years, and together with Artis Šimpermanis this finale concert will become a special and lasting musical event.

It will be an event where experience, emotion, and true Latvian songs meet on one stage - this is definitely not to be missed.
