Celebrating VDMV’s anniversary, the exhibition “School Will Be 100” will be on view at the Valmiera Museum

From November 28 to January 27, a special exhibition, “School Will Be 100,” will take place at the Valmiera Museum. The exhibition is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Valmiera Design and Arts Secondary School, and it has been created through the combined efforts of the school’s teachers and students.

The aim of the anniversary exhibition is to go beyond the limits of the present - to look into the future with a futuristic perspective, while at the same time looking back, paying attention to and appreciating what has been.

The exhibition’s guiding theme and open question, “With a body on earth, with a soul?” invite viewers to reflect on the physical and the spiritual, on the roots of the past and visions of the future, seeking answers through the artworks on display.

All art lovers are warmly invited to celebrate the school’s anniversary together and to view the world of art from the crossroads of the past and the future!
