Auļi in Khekatas

The core of the concert program will be built around Auļi’s album KĶekatās, dedicated to the Winter Solstice. In 2022, the album received the Latvian Music Recording of the Year award Zelta Mikrofons in the category Best Folk or World Music Album. Although individual songs from the album have already been performed at Auļi concerts, the full album program has not yet had its special premiere. For the first time, KĶekatās will be performed in full in a single concert program.

Just like on the album recording, three special singers will join Auļi on the Palladium stage: Asnate Rancāne, Katrīna Dimanta, and Beāte Zviedre. Each of them, with her unique voice and musical character, will join Auļi’s group of khekatas.
