Ballet "The Jungle Book"

The performance is about compassion, family, and love. In the jungle, where life follows the laws of the animal kingdom, a small human child unexpectedly appears. He is found by a she-wolf, who knows human nature well. The she-wolf decides to protect the boy and take him in, because - "who knows, maybe this one will be different?" The little boy grows up in the jungle. There is no shortage of joy and adventure there, but something drives the young man to the city, to people, and he leaves the jungle in the shadow of the ruler Tiger. Seemingly, among people, the guy has found his true place, his home, yet his heart longs for nature, animals, and the jungle.

Choreographer Raimonds Martinovs created the characters and events of the ballet "The Jungle Book" inspired by the collection of stories of the same name by the English author Rudyard Kipling, and the music was composed by Kārlis Lācis.
