WHITE HELICOPTER - online film

In February 2013, the world was shocked when Pope Benedict XVI resigned. Joseph Ratzinger is the first pope in the last 600 years to leave his post during his lifetime. The true reasons for his resignation remain unknown. The eight years Ratzinger spent in the papal seat coincided with the new challenges and questions with which our civilization and the Church were confronted at the beginning of the 21st century, and for which answers have still not been found.

The film WHITE HELICOPTER, with Mikhail Baryshnikov in the role of the Pope, offers a new interpretation of the Pope’s last day before his historic resignation.

The film is primarily in English (partly in Italian, Polish, and Latin) with subtitles in Latvian and English.
