This autumn, the main #BeActive hike of European Week of Sport will also take you to Augšdaugava Municipality!

IN AUGŠDAUGAVA MUNICIPALITY

Participants will be welcomed by four different hiking adventures - routes of 6 km, 14 km and 28 km, as well as a special 1.5 km twilight hike.

The routes will take you through the Dviete, Bebrene and Pilskalne areas, allowing you to discover the natural and cultural-historical treasures of Augšdaugava Municipality - the surroundings of Dviete Manor and the Dviete floodplain, the Bebrene area and the Siguldiņa trails in Pilskalne.

A special adventure awaits in the evening too - a twilight hike on the Sprīdītis Trail, where revived fairy-tale characters and light effects will greet the hikers. After the hike, do not rush home, the evening will continue with a concert and dancing!

The hike is being organised in cooperation with the Culture and Tourism Department of Augšdaugava Municipality.

Participation in the hike will be free of charge.
