bet bet 35th anniversary concert with songs by Raimonds Pauls

This year in Latvia is being marked by Raimonds Pauls, and the group bet bet has also built its anniversary concert program around the Maestro’s wonderful songs.

The group’s creative legacy includes four albums with Raimonds Pauls’ compositions: “Do Not Blame Me,” “Legend of the Green Maiden,” “The Pearl Fisher,” and “Summer Will Never End.” Meanwhile, the song “The Silent Song” in the group’s performance has for many years been one of the most frequently played on Latvian radio stations. Last year it became the most played song on Radio 2 Latvia, and it is also regularly heard on Radio Skonto, Star FM, and Radio SWH.

The concert will feature plenty of surprises and, of course, legendary hits: “Do Not Blame Me,” “Little Cobblestone,” “Wild Rose,” “The Silent Song,” “A Little Song About Living,” “While the Candles Burn,” and “Summer Will Never End.” Songs from the cycle “The Pearl Fisher” will also be performed, as well as the newly added legendary songs “In the Lantern Hour” and “Everything Comes and Goes into the Distance.” You will also hear many Maestro songs with lyrics by the group member Guntars Račs. It will be powerful, melodic, and fun!
