BETWEEN SILENCE AND LIGHT | Justinas Stanislovaitis & Martynas Vaičekauskas (Lithuania)

At the end of the year, when December evenings grow quieter and every light shines brighter, the concert hall Collegium Musicum Riga invites you to a special, emotionally rich evening of acoustic music, “Between Silence and Light.”

Lithuanian singer, songwriter, and guitarist Justinas Stanislovaitis will visit Riga with his chamber music concert program, in which original songs intertwine with distinctive interpretations of works by world-famous musicians.

The concert will feature Justinas Stanislovaitis’ original music, as well as songs by Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Sting, and Peter Gabriel, given a new, personal sound.

Two Lithuanian musicians will meet on stage, and their musical dialogue will create a special, intimate atmosphere:

• •Justinas Stanislovaitis - vocals, acoustic guitar
• •Martynas Vaičekauskas - accordion, keyboards, Lithuanian traditional flute (lumzdelis)

“Between Silence and Light” is a musical story about dreams, reflection, the fragility of life, and the search for light. It is an invitation to pause for a moment in the year-end rush, listen to music, and surrender to emotions that are sometimes impossible to express in words.

The concert program will be performed in Riga after its presentation in Vilnius on December 28, offering Latvian audiences a chance to discover the musical world of Lithuanian artists.
