An unvarnished conversation about violence and escape from oneself, about people's inability and unwillingness to hear one another, which can lead to tragic consequences.

"He is practically the perfect husband: he bought an apartment where we could live in peace and harmony with our family, a caring father to our daughters, an excellent provider," thinks his wife Olga, who knows absolutely nothing about the man she lives with.

"He is an obsessed maniac who never lets me out of his claws, an evil nightmare that you want to forget as quickly as possible and leave in the distant past," actress Yana tries to forget one of her former lovers.

"I love her! Madly!" cannot forget Lesha, a married man...

What does all this mean? The answer is found in the play "Nobody Heard," which is the basis of the production "Without Witnesses." The play was written in 2019, but it has already attracted the attention of theater directors, critics, and researchers from different countries. The first reading of A. Strizhevskaya's play took place at the prestigious "Lyubimovka" festival, where it received high praise, and playwright Natalya Bloka writes: "In my opinion, this play is about all of us: we want to do only what we want, read others however we want, ask no questions and listen to no one." The Daugavpils Theatre production (the first staging of this play in the Baltic states) will be especially interesting for spectators who are interested in psychology, human relationships, and who value emotional upheaval in theater.

The play "Nobody Heard" was first presented to the public at the international festival of new drama "Lyubimovka."
