Free Online Lecture for Single-Parent Families “Child Development in a Single-Parent Family”
In cooperation with the Health Center “Vivendi,” we invite single-parent families to take part in the free online lecture series “Small Team, Big Strength.”
The lecture series will cover five sessions on topics related to child development, a parent’s well-being, relationships, conflict resolution, boundaries, as well as career and financial decisions. You can register for individual lectures or for the full five-lecture series.
The sessions will be led by clinical and health psychologist Kristiāna Kalniņa:
“In my work, I often meet parents who are raising children alone or are separated from the other parent. Such everyday life means twice as much work, responsibilities, and sometimes also more exhaustion, anxiety, and responsibility. This lecture series was created to support parents so that they can not only provide their child with safety and stability, but also preserve their own strength, health, and balance.”
