Photo Identification Gathering

On November 23 from 12: 00 to 17:00, the Auce City Library will host a Photo Identification Gathering, inviting all history enthusiasts of Auce, local history fans, and anyone who cares about preserving the history of their region.

The library’s local history collection holds valuable historical photographs featuring people, places, and events, but some of them have still not been identified. To help identify the people shown in the photographs and determine the places and times of the events depicted, the library invites the public to take part in a shared effort to explore memories and history.

It may be that you will recognize a long-forgotten place, a familiar person, or an event that will help add to the story of Auce’s history. Every memory, every story, and every detail can be important in preserving our region’s cultural and historical heritage for future generations.

You can take part in the Photo Identification Gathering at a time that is convenient for you, from 12:00 to 17:00. No special historical knowledge is required - interest, attentiveness, and a willingness to share your memories will be enough.

We invite you to come yourself and bring along older family members, friends, and acquaintances whose memories may help uncover previously unknown facts about Auce’s history.

Together, we will give voice to old photographs and help preserve the historical evidence of Auce!

See you on November 23 at Auce City Library!

During the event, photos will be taken for publicity purposes.
