What would happen if, at the most elegant tavern in some Riga neighborhood, during the wedding of two young people, the bride's grandmother were to meet her ex-son-in-law and his new, aging girlfriend? What should the host do if, a few minutes before the celebration, it turns out that her husband will not be able to play the musical accompaniment because he has not yet recovered from the previous festivities? What should the groom do if the bride's best friend confesses her feelings during a toast?

Cake, exciting contests, and dancing from dusk till dawn! While the newlyweds celebrate and look to the future with bright hopes, the other family members cannot resist the temptation to use this rare chance to settle old scores from the past.

Just when it seems that all conflicts have been set aside, an unexpected guest arrives, and those present must make sure the wedding celebration does not turn into a funeral feast.
