Children’s Mornings. Latvian Puppet Theatre performance The Knight Who Had a Toothache
On November 8 at 11: 00, the Latvian Puppet Theatre will visit the Imanta Culture Centre with the children’s performance The Knight Who Had a Toothache.
The knight loves sweets very much, and one day he eats so many treats that he unexpectedly gets a toothache. Used to bravely facing opponents, the knight now finds himself in an unusual battle, this time it is his own teeth that hurt! In search of a solution, he will need courage, wit, and perseverance to overcome this trial and prove his heroism.
The performance is directed and dramatized by Edgars Kaufelds, the designer is Rūta Briede, and the music is by Ilga Reizniece and Māris Muktupāvels. Starring Baiba Vanaga and Artūrs Putniņš.
The performance will last 50 minutes, and afterward the audience is invited to a 20-minute conversation with the actors. This will be an opportunity to learn more about how the performance was created, find out more about the actors’ work, and ask questions about what they saw. The conversation will allow children and adults to share their impressions and continue getting to know the knight’s adventures even after the performance ends.
