Concert Performance "Journey at Midnight"

Sometimes it seems to us that all the good cards have been dealt to someone else, that only your neighbors win the lottery, that other people’s pies turn out more golden, that when a sandwich falls, only yours lands butter-side down on the floor, and that only you have a broken heart. And only you have it broken precisely on New Year’s Eve.

This concert’s story is exactly about such a guy, who has decided that he is hopelessly unhappy and is ready to prove it even to some very powerful being in the whole Universe. A being who now has to interrupt the celebrations in order to show our hero that life is wonderful. And in order for it to be that way, one only has to be able to do one thing. Which one? You will see. We can say only this: our concert’s hero will try to do it, and we will be able to watch how he succeeds. We wish you a pleasant evening at the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre! Right here. Right now. In the present.

Songs in different languages; subtitles in Latvian and English, including a glimpse into the content of the songs.
