The artist, who devoted his whole life to turning his personality into a work of art, even turned his farewell moment into "Blackstar", another act of creative transformation, a disturbing and captivating masterpiece.

In order to understand what exactly he did at the end of his career, it is necessary to look back at his entire creative path...

It's like looking at family archive photos in a group of friends: you know what's going to happen next, you know how it's going to end, but you can't take your eyes off them.

The film allows us to dive into the past and, together with Bowie's close friends and musicians, remember the triumph of the Let's Dance album, the Glastonbury Festival, the concert at London's Hammersmith Odeon, the controversial Berlin period and Ziggy Stardust, work in cinema, tours and performances.

And, of course, Blackstar - the result of David Bowie allowing himself to look back, take the best from every stage of his life and create a grand requiem for himself from all this experience.
