Dance Show 'Sol do Brasil'

"Sol do Brasil" is the first grand project of the Latvian Dance Theatre, developed over three years. It is a масштабный story of movement, color, and joie de vivre, inviting the audience to dive into the rhythms and sunny energy of Brazil.

Latvian Dance Theatre (LDT) is a young, purposeful, and creatively bold team centered around more than 40 dancers from Latvia, united by a common goal, to create emotionally gripping and artistically multilayered stage events. By combining choreography, music, and theatrical art, the team creates works that go beyond the usual boundaries of genre.

"Sol do Brasil" is a dynamic, energy-filled show dedicated to Brazil and its unique world of nature and culture. On stage, colorful birds, exotic flowers, and wild animals will come to life, while the dancers will reflect the brightest traits of the Brazilian character, openness, passion, and a love of music and movement.

A special place in the program is also reserved for iconic Brazilian symbols, Rio de Janeiro, the city’s sunny beaches, its pulsating atmosphere, and, of course, the legendary carnival, shining in every color of the rainbow.

The show will feature gems of Brazil’s musical heritage, enriching the stage story and allowing the audience to feel an authentic Brazilian atmosphere.

Dance, music, colors, and emotions merge into one shared experience that will take audiences of any age into a world of celebration, joy, and carefree spirit, letting them fully feel Brazil’s cheerful mood.

The project is ready to meet its audience, to surprise, inspire, and become one of the brightest cultural experiences of the new season.

One evening. Thousands of emotions. Brazil you cannot forget.
