Digital Exhibition “Craftsmanship and Way of Life” at the House of Traditions

The digital exhibition “Craftsmanship and Way of Life” is located in the House of Traditions and is dedicated to the world of the Latgalian homestead, a place where everyday life, work, and family life unfolded through the changing seasons. The exhibition offers a contemporary perspective on ancient craft skills, allowing visitors to explore them through visual imagery, sound, hands-on activity, and interactive stories.

At the heart of the exhibition is an interactive installation that lets visitors choose for themselves which stories to follow, whether about work in the homestead, the cycle of the seasons, or the craft skills that have shaped Latgale’s way of life from generation to generation.
