DISKO ROZE | Gunārs Rozenbergs. Agnese Budovska | Andris Keišs | Dailes Big Band

On November 13, 2025, the concert performance “DISKO ROZE” had its premiere at Daile Music House.

“Disco Rose” is a journey through time and moods. It is a story about the time when music, fashion, and vivid personalities became a source of inspiration for creative flight.

Idea author Andris Keišs was inspired by the music of trumpeter, composer, and arranger Gunārs Rozenbergs and the melodies of Raimonds Pauls, the aesthetics of Riga’s dance clubs, and the brilliance of the legendary “Riga House of Models,” which made our capital one of the most dazzling places in Europe.

Andris Keišs: "Gunārs Rozenbergs was special. Extraordinary things happened around him all the time. Through “Disco Rose,” I want to touch the time when everyone danced, laughed, and whirled around, unable to sit on the sidelines!"

Artistic director of Dailes Big Band Kārlis Vanags: "Every Rozenbergs composition is like a story, vivid, original, and free."
