Dmitry Krymov in HD: “Peter Pan. Syndrome” in Riga

PETER PAN. SYNDROME

Created and Staged by Dmitry Krymov

Produced by the Latvian National Theatre

Distributed by Art Seen Films

A special cinema presentation of Internationally acclaimed director Dmitry Krymov’s deeply moving, visually spectacular tragicomedy produced by the Latvian National Theatre that reimagines J.M. Barrie’s classic motif as a poignant exploration of the artist's soul. Blending Krymov’s trademark visual poetry, eccentric physical comedy, and bittersweet humor, this performance serves as a heart-wrenching yet beautiful ode to theater as the ultimate sanctuary for inner freedom.

Dmitry Krymov’s production at the Latvian National Theatre marked his debut on the Latvian stage and was the most expensive production in the theatre’s history. The premiere took place in February 2024, and the production ran at the theatre for a season and a half.

Presented in Latvian with English subtitles and live Russian translation via headphones.
