Lecture by Dr. hist. Mārīte Jakovļeva, “Kuldīga and the People of Kuldīga during the Duchy of Courland”

We invite you to the lecture by historian Dr. Mārīte Jakovļeva, “Kuldīga and the People of Kuldīga during the Duchy of Courland.” The lecture will offer an opportunity to take a look at Kuldīga's history during the era of the Duchy of Courland, learn more about the city's significance and the lives of its inhabitants, and discover interesting facts and historical evidence about Kuldīga in that period.

The lecture will take place on September 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Kuldīga Main Library. Everyone interested in the history of Kuldīga and Courland and who would like to expand their knowledge of the city's past is welcome.
