Gemma Silver's stand-up show "Woman, get it!"

Woman, get it! Be well-groomed, but not too well-groomed. Take care of yourself, but don't forget about others! I am successful, but not so much that my husband feels threatened! If being a woman seems like playing a game whose rules are always changing, Gemma Silver has something to say about that. In the stand-up show "Woman, Get Up!" she speaks with self-irony, brave openness and apt everyday observations about society's expectations, relationships, aging, the body, domesticity and the countless roles that women must manage to play in a day.

Because if you're a woman, you're probably doing something wrong. And if it's impossible to win, at least it remains to have a good laugh about it.
