Some Like It Hot

Musical comedy "Some Like It Hot"

Description:

A musical comedy from the Riga touring theater "A"!

• 🏆A masterpiece of world comedy

This is not just a production, but an immortal classic that has won millions of hearts! A cult story that has been staged for decades with consistently sold-out audiences on the world’s leading theater stages will now appear before you in a completely new, bold interpretation.

🌍 About the production and the unique troupe

The performance is presented by the Riga touring theater "A" (the creators of the hit comedy "Dinner with a Fool"). For this production, a truly outstanding international cast has been assembled — the most talented actors from Estonia, Latvia, Poland, and Spain will share one stage.

The project’s special pride is the Estonian comic duo Sergei Rimar and Boris Bogdanov, who already made you cry with laughter in "Dinner with a Fool." Their wild energy and amazing onstage chemistry turn every performance into a true gem of the comedy genre. These guys are incredibly funny!

📖 Plot: High heels, jazz, a double bass, and not the slightest idea how to walk in heels!

An incredible chain of coincidences forces two ordinary musicians, Bill and Phil, to urgently change their surroundings and disappear into the crowd. And the guys come up with a brilliant (as they see it) solution, joining a touring women’s jazz orchestra! They put on dresses, step into heels, and transform into Bella and Phyllis. But how long will the rough-and-tumble guys be able to hide their true selves among beauties and persistent suitors?

✨ A fresh breath of life for a classic

The director has done enormous work: the familiar material has been boldly reworked, made more modern, and packed to the brim with completely new, sparkling jokes and unexpected gags. Even if you know this story by heart and have seen it before, our performance will still surprise you and give you a huge sea of emotions!
