Tour of the LIELAIS DZINTARS Concert Hall

Every Sunday at 11: 00, we invite you to join an exciting walk and discover the treasures of the Liepāja concert hall!

The Liepāja concert hall “Lielais dzintars” has become a symbol of 21st-century Liepāja, highly valued both in Latvia and internationally. It is impossible not to notice the grand building, which stands in Liepāja’s panorama like a mighty, multifaceted gemstone, yet what makes this house even more unique is its contents. The concert hall tours invite you to discover and explore both!

During the tour, with a guide, you will take a look at the Great Hall as well as other concert and art spaces, where around 400 current and future music professionals spend their time every day. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views opening from the building’s seventh floor. You will also learn many interesting facts about the history of Liepāja’s musical tradition, the creation of the concert hall, its artistic program, and the wide possibilities of the venue.

Both public and private tours are available.

Public tours:

• •take place every Sunday at 11:00;
• •available in Latvian;
• •price - 4.00 euros for adults, 3.00 euros for school pupils, students, pensioners, persons with disability groups I and II, and their companions.

Private tours:

• •can be booked on any day during the concert hall’s designated opening hours;
• •it is advisable to book at least 3 days in advance;
• •available in Latvian, English, German, and Russian;
• •Price for a group of 1 to 8 people: 25 euros in Latvian and 30 euros in English, German, or Russian. Participation fee for each additional participant: according to the public tour price list (3.00-4.00 euros/person).

Children up to 7 years old - free of charge when attending the tour together with parents or guardians.
