Emma Rass Solo Exhibition “Time Interpretations”

A solo exhibition by artist Emma Rass, "Time Interpretations," is expected at the Dimension Ink gallery

On Friday, September 25, at 7:30 p.m., the opening of artist Emma Rass’s solo exhibition "Time Interpretations" will take place at the Dimension Ink gallery, Rīgas Street 11, Cēsis. The exhibition will be on view until November 15, 2026.

In the exhibition "Time Interpretations," the artist turns to the interpretation of the human figure. At its center is the human figure, drawings, sketches, figurative graphics, and acrylic volumes, in which the artist focuses on form, movement, feeling, and a personal perspective. The nude figure here is not just a body. It is a form in space, an echo of movement, and an attempt to capture what exists only for a brief moment. For the artist, the model is a starting point in the creative search for form, where reality meets the artist’s intuition and interpretations. More important than academic precision in depicting the figure is the presence of naturalness, openness, freedom of movement, and feeling. Time in the exhibition is not only the chronology of how the works were created. It is a broader framework in which observation, experience, ideas, and a personal vision meet, a process in which works and thoughts change and continue to develop.
