Environmental Relationship Drama “Dog Water”

The performance is based on motifs from the story “When the Grass Returns” by Loreta Kiršblate, a student at Valmiera Pārgauja State Gymnasium.

With this work, Loreta won the environmental story competition “Green Story,” which received 115 entries from young people all over Latvia.

The young authors addressed climate change, environmental pollution, fast fashion, animal protection, deforestation, the relationship between humans and nature, and other issues.

The action of the environmental relationship drama “Dog Water” takes place in a greenhouse 100 years in the future. It tells the story of an impossible love between the young Adelaina and her tomato seedlings.

Admission to the event is free.

Please note that photography and filming may take place at the event for publicity and historical purposes.
