Hedgehog in the Fog

“HEDGEHOG IN THE FOG”

The performance is based on the fairy tales of Sergei Kozlov.

The tale tells the story of Hedgehog, Little Bear, and other forest-dwelling fairy-tale characters. It is a story about true friendship and trust, warm and cozy. Through the animal characters, the creators of the performance show how much warmth and kindness we, as people, can give one another!

The production is reminiscent of old puppet animation films, although most of the characters are played by actors. Alongside them are paper puppets as well, as if the fairy-tale characters had stepped out of the pages of a book. With the help of projections, which are part of the stage design, director Svetlana Bara creates a three-dimensional fairy-tale world, as if painted in watercolors.

This performance is for everyone: children will be delighted by the butterflies that seem ready to fly out into the auditorium, while adults will see and feel the deeper meaning hidden in a simple, seemingly simple fairy tale.
