Free seminars to promote health literacy in October

The Department of Welfare of the Riga City Municipality, in cooperation with SIA “OnPlate”, invites Riga residents to FREE seminars to promote health literacy.
STRENGTHENING MENTAL HEALTH
⏱️ Seminar planned for: October 3, from 10:00 to 11:30.
- 📍Venue: Mūrnieku iela 5, Riga.
- 📌The seminar will be led by: psychiatrist Aleksandra Koņevņina.
- 📌In the seminar, you will learn about: the most current psycho-emotional health conditions - depression, anxiety, sleep. Tips for improving mental health.
PREVENTION OF ONCOLOGICAL DISEASES
⏱️ Seminar planned for: October 10, from 10:00 to 11:30.
- 📍Venue: Mūrnieku iela 5, Riga.
- 📌The seminar will be led by: oncologist Ļubova Blumberga.
- 📌In the seminar, you will learn about: what an oncological disease is, how benign and malignant tumors differ, risk factors that can promote the development of oncological diseases, state-funded screening options, why it is needed, whether we can perform self-examinations, and how to do them correctly.
Advance registration IS MANDATORY!
