GRANDBROTHERS

After their lightning-fast sold-out concert in Vilnius and their triumph in Liepāja, the world-renowned neoclassical and electronic music duo Grandbrothers will give their first major concert in Riga in December!

As soon as the German duo Grandbrothers announced their autumn concert at the Vilnius Philharmonic, tickets in the neighboring country vanished in a flash. Latvian audiences are already familiar with this phenomenon - their previous performance at Liepāja's Great Amber turned into an absolute sensation and ended in standing ovations.

Now, on December 4 at the Riga Congress Centre, the duo is finally returning to Latvia to present their first major concert in the capital with their new, grand electronic music show.

The German duo Grandbrothers - pianist and composer Erol Sarp and sound engineer and software developer Lukas Vogel - have become one of the brightest names in today's world of contemporary classical and electronic music. Their unique sound is created by integrating the latest technology and live-generated electronic textures into the classical piano sound. No digital samples or virtual synthesizers are used on stage - all the music is created right in front of the audience, physically transforming the instrument's acoustic sound with an electromechanical system they created themselves.

Those in attendance will be able to watch the piano being played in completely unconventional ways, creating an incredibly layered sound. In Riga, Grandbrothers will present their latest live show, based on the newest album Elsewhere, in which the influence of analog synthesizers, drum machines, and club culture is felt vividly for the first time, giving the music intense energy and hypnotic rhythms.

Expect an impressive audiovisual experience in which cinematic emotional depth merges with striking lighting and visual scenography.

Important: Given the huge demand in neighboring countries and the limited number of seats at the Riga Congress Centre, we encourage you to buy tickets early!
