“Midnight Five” at the Church of Ropaži’s “Garden of Light”

“Midnight Five”. At Christmas

December 4 at 8: 30 PM

At the Church of Ropaži’s “Garden of Light”

The vocal a cappella group “Midnight Five” will visit the Church of Ropaži’s “Garden of Light.” Five graduates of the Riga Cathedral Choir School invite you to embrace the Christmas spirit in a concert program where the human voice is the only instrument.

The concert will feature well-known songs by Latvian composers and melodies from around the world, which, in five-part harmony and in arrangements created by the musicians themselves, will gain a new sound. It will be a heartfelt musical encounter, where beloved songs can be rediscovered anew.

The group “Midnight Five” was founded in 2020, and currently consists of Rihards Lapiņš, Krišjānis Rapa, Jēkabs Krists Kalniņš, Daniels Pelnēns, and Eremijs Sējāns. The boys have earned audience appreciation both through their own concert programs and through collaborations with beloved musicians in Latvia.

The season of anticipation for Christmas invites us to slow down a little, be together, and experience something beautiful together. May this evening be an opportunity to leave the rush of everyday life behind for a moment and surrender to music and the joy of being together!

Come and let yourself be carried away by the magic of feeling in the special atmosphere of the Church of Ropaži!

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the restoration of the Church of Ropaži!
