Idiot's Waltz

Maksims Busels: “Have you ever had the experience that, as an adult, you suddenly and quite by chance find long-forgotten diary entries, where you rediscover the many poems, stories, letters, and songs you wrote about your first love? Memories of what you went through make you smile, but when you start reading all of this, confusion and amazement set in - how could so much have changed in 15 years that I no longer recognize the young person who wrote all this? As if it were not me... Or maybe it is normal that as we grow up, we change so much? Or perhaps, over the years, by giving up our bold dreams and daring plans, each of us quietly loses ourselves... our true selves?

For the first time, I dare to turn the pages of my youth together with the audience, and through my songs, letters, and poems, try to get to know myself again.”
