This is the motto chosen for the first Thursday evening of the new concert season at Igo's Old Town salon SANDCAKE.

On November 19, the day after the Proclamation Day of the Republic of Latvia, Igo, pianist Jānis Strazds, and percussionist Māris Zīlmanis invite you to celebrate Latvia, be together, and sing!

Māris Zīlmanis' presence in this lineup brings fresh and organic musical shades. Māris is the concertmaster of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, a percussion teacher, and once played in the legendary band LĪVI. He is a sought-after musician whose musical taste and experience producers and concert organizers rely on.

During the evening, SANDCAKE's familiar conversations, stories, excellent coffee, wine, light snacks, and of course music are expected, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere at the end of our patriotic week!
