Ivo FOMINS and Jānis ŠIPKĒVICS | Conversations, Music, Life

The conversations about music and life at Pegasus Living Room continue, and on December 2 at 7:00 PM we invite you to an evening with one of the brightest representatives of Liepāja rock, Ivo Fomins.

Together with Liepāja2027 ambassador and Radio SWH host Jānis Šipkēvics Sr., Ivo Fomins will look back on more than four decades in Latvian music, sharing stories about his creative path, life, and the songs that have become part of the musical experience of several generations.

Ivo Fomins began his creative journey in the 1980s, and over the years he has performed in such bands as Saldās sejas, Neptūns, Libau, Melnā Princese, Liepājas brāļi, and the duo Fomins & Kleins. Since 2006, he has been active as a solo artist, continuing to develop his musical signature and the sound characteristic of Liepāja rock.

The conversation will focus on the unseen side of songwriting, the first impulses, personal experiences, and unexpected turns in life that are transformed into music. The talk will also be accompanied by musical performances, and this time Ivo Fomins will be supported on stage by his musical companion, guitarist and fellow Liepāja native Roberts Dinters.
