TAKE APART AND DISCOVER electric appliances: LEVEL #1, a workshop for first-time participants!

Find out what is hidden inside household electrical appliances and how they work!

Join the social enterprise IDEAL MISTAKES HUB workshop, where you can TAKE APART worn-out household appliances and, together with RTU students, find out HOW they WORK!

PLAN?

We will start by learning basic safety before we get to the appliances

Together we will take apart several non-working devices of the same type (tools will be provided!)

Knowledgeable RTU student Linards Reinis Rozītis will introduce what is inside the device and what its basic operating principles are

We will use creative thinking and brainstorm how to give worn-out equipment a second life together with the workshop host Kristīna Virse!

We ESPECIALLY invite fathers, big brothers (18+), uncles, and all other knowledgeable adults (ladies too!). Recommended age for young participants: 9-18 years

What to bring: comfortable work clothes

Participation for 1 young person + 1 adult = 35 EUR

(+1, 2, 3.. young person or adult = +10 EUR each)
