TAKE APART AND DISCOVER electrical appliances! A practical workshop for children together with adults

No prior experience needed! This time we will make small gifts from e-waste.

Participate in the social enterprise IDEAL MISTAKES HUB workshop, where you can TAKE APART used household electrical appliances, learn HOW they WORK together with RTU students, and give electronic components a second life!

Workshop theme: will be announced closer to the event

PLAN?

We will learn about safety before we get to work on the appliances

We will take apart several broken devices together (tools will be provided!)

The knowledgeable RTU student Linards Reinis Rozītis will introduce what is inside the device and its basic operating principles

We will use creative thinking and brainstorm how to give used equipment a second life together with the workshop's creativity lead Kristīna Virse

Workshop content will vary depending on the electrical devices available to us

ESPECIALLY invite fathers, big brothers (18+), uncles and all other knowledgeable adults (ladies too!). Recommended age for youth participants: 9-18 years

What to bring: comfortable work clothes

Participation for 1 young person + 1 adult = 35 EUR

(+1,2,3.. young person or adult = +10 EUR each)
