Open-Air Photo Exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987-2007-2025”

The association “One Day.lv,” as part of the program “Liepāja - European Capital of Culture 2027,” will open the open-air photo exhibition “One Day in Liepāja 1987 - 2007 - 2025” on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Jānis Čakste Square, 15 Alejas Street, Liepāja. The exhibition will invite visitors to discover the city and its people in three different periods.

The exhibition will be on view until November 12, 2026.

Alongside historical photographs of Liepāja, works created in 2025 during the photo plen-air organized as part of the international conference “Vision & Voices 2025” will also be on display. The images will reveal the everyday life of Liepāja’s residents, the urban environment, and the changes over nearly 40 years, allowing visitors to encounter both a familiar and an as yet unseen Liepāja.
