Exhibition - Michelangelo - Touching the Eternal

Michelangelo Buonarroti is a sculptor, painter, architect, and thinker, one of the greatest masters of the High Renaissance.

He worked for nine popes, created some of the most significant fresco cycles in the history of art, and made sculptures in which marble seems alive.

In his art, human beings become the center of the Universe, physically and spiritually perfect.

A contemporary of Leonardo da Vinci and a source of inspiration for Raphael, Michelangelo is considered one of the titans of the Renaissance.
