Educational Tour and Tasting at the ŌBDO Gin Distillery

Embark on an educational adventure to ŌBDO - Latvia’s craft gin distillery and the first open-type distillery in Riga, at Miera iela 29!

Two brothers, in the heart of Riga, have set off on an exciting craft gin adventure, introducing the world to the richness of Latvia’s natural bounty and creating a unique Latvian gin flavor.

ŌBDO was created with inspiration from the pure and untouched nature of Latvia. In addition to the classic gin ingredients, the production also uses the most characteristic plants found in Nordic meadows and forests, creating a unique Latvian craft gin flavor. Get to know the world of craft gin by listening to interesting stories about the history of gin, gin production, and what is happening in the modern world today. You will also learn the ŌBDO story, get to know the ŌBDO gin production process, and taste both ŌBDO gin and Genever, which is considered the first distilled alcoholic drink made using juniper berries.
