JĀNIS NIEDRA - Album Presentation Concert

Singer and songwriter Jānis Niedra is going on a concert tour presenting his new album, "New Friends Come Easier When We Forget About the Old Ones."

Jānis draws his musical inspiration from a blend of classical music and elements of contemporary pop and rock music. During the evening, audiences will have the chance to hear both the new compositions and songs already loved by listeners, including "Caur maniem, maniem matiem izslīd tavi, tavi pirksti," which stayed in the "Musical Bank" TOP 15 for more than 10 weeks, and "Tu, Tu," which has repeatedly appeared in the LaIPA Latvian Radio TOP 10 list of most played songs. Jānis Niedra's lyrical and introspective storytelling will be complemented by a backing band, so the evening promises to be colorful.

Jānis Niedra is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter. He received his higher education in the United Kingdom, studying songwriting in depth at the BIMM Bristol music institute.

Jānis has written songs for several well-known Latvian artists (for example, Aija Andrejeva, Elizabete Gaile, Elza Rozentāle, etc.).
