JĀNIS SKUTELIS / SHOW “HA!”

I wanted to make a stand-up show already two years ago. But there is so much work in the theater. Then doubts set in; why do I need this, I don’t do that anymore, and so on. Besides, I am in the theater all the time, and I don’t have much to say about what is happening outside it.

What should I talk about in that stand-up show? The answer to this question found me soon enough. One evening, while rereading one of Shakespeare’s plays, as all actors usually do, suddenly: *Richard III* -

“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts.”

HA! I have something to say!

*quote from W. Shakespeare’s play “As You Like It”. Ha!

See you all over Latvia!
