An evening of folk songs by the mixed choir "Kaiva" in the spirit of the National Holiday weekend

on November 7 at 18.00 Ventspils Culture Center will perform the folk song program of the mixed choir "Kaiva", dedicated to the National Holiday week.

In the course of the evening, Latvian folk songs will unfold in different musical moods and sounds, combining choir voices, vocal ensembles and instrumental music. Together with the mixed choir "Kaiva", the Shlokenbek manor vocal studio "Dūkurīši", the Ventspils vocal group, as well as instrumentalist musicians will play music at the concert.

For centuries, the folk song has been one of the strongest voices of our culture and identity, and during the National Holiday Week it will invite us to both remember our roots and feel anew the power of being together and singing.

We invite you to ring in the holiday week with a Latvian, warm and multi-vocal concert evening at the Ventspils Culture Center.
