Youth NGO Fair and Panel Discussion with Decision-Makers

On 7 November in Riga, young people, non-governmental organizations, and decision-makers will gather at the Youth NGO Fair to make new connections, share experience, and discuss youth participation in public life.

On 7 November from 12: 00 to 18:00, the Youth Center “Kaņieris” (15 Kaņiera Street, Riga) will host the Youth Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Fair, bringing together young people and organizations from different parts of Latvia. The event will also include a panel discussion with decision-makers, giving young people an opportunity to engage in dialogue about issues important to them and about youth participation in decision-making processes.

The Youth NGO Fair will be an opportunity to discover different organizations in one place, learn about their work and initiatives, find like-minded people, and explore the best opportunities to get involved. Young people will be able to learn more about volunteering, civic participation, and opportunities to turn their ideas into reality by actively engaging in community life.

It is not always easy to know where to start if you want to get involved in public life or do something meaningful in your community. The fair will help young people get to know the non-governmental sector, meet organization representatives in person, and learn how to turn their interests and ideas into real action.

An important part of the event will be the panel discussion with decision-makers. It will create a space for conversation between young people and those who take part in decision-making, promoting mutual understanding and the inclusion of young people’s views in processes important to society. The discussion will be an opportunity to raise issues important to young people, ask questions, and share their experience.

The event will promote cooperation between young people, non-governmental organizations, and decision-makers, creating opportunities for new contacts, exchange of experience, and the development of joint initiatives.

The Youth NGO Fair is organized by the association “3D Friends,” which works in the fields of non-formal education, culture, creativity, and inclusion. The association’s goal is to give people the opportunity to develop their ideas and put them into practice through innovative and inclusive projects. The association promotes youth participation, civic activity, cooperation, and the building of inclusive communities.
