In the second Advent, in the Light Garden of Ropaži church, the songs of Kārlis Kazāk will be heard, which have a special ability to say much more in seemingly simple words than we hear at first. The miracle of Christmas also enters the world quietly and imperceptibly, reminding us that sometimes the greatest light is born in very simple things.

Kārlis Kazāks is one of the most unique Latvian singers. In his songs, the serious and the non-serious, joy and sadness, people's stories and his own experiences live together. Kārlis knows not only how to sing, but also how to talk to the audience, and sometimes what is said between songs is remembered the longest.

Anete Kalniņa and Maija Ušča will join him in this concert. Anete's voice and playing of instruments, Maija's double bass and Karl's guitar together will create a sound in which there is nothing superfluous. Three musicians, each with their own character and musical experience, who know how to hear and complement each other.

Not everything important in our lives happens out loud. Sometimes all it takes is a song, a memory or words that suddenly take on a completely different meaning.
