CASTING

a very loose adaptation based on the motifs of E. Sverling's play «The Whore of Harlem»

CASTING

an actress’s audition

The performance «Casting» invites the audience to take a look behind the scenes of the theatre and step into a real audition process.

A young actress tries to prove that she is worthy of the role, but does not know who exactly makes the decision. The jury may turn out to be anyone present, possibly even a spectator. So do not be surprised if the actress addresses you directly. Did she pass the casting? Is she worthy of the role? Are you the jury? Who knows, who knows, because according to the casting rules, the composition of the jury has not yet been approved.
